Queenstown, New Zealand is a very small town. You can get around without much trouble by just taking the bus. However, many people don't know that there's a Queenstown bus app, so we're going to show you how to use it. Don't get lost, everyone, just spend a minute here
The Queenstown bus app you can't get lost in without it

Taking a bus in an unfamiliar country or city can be intimidating, because a bad ride can ruin a whole day of traveling.
By the way, if you're traveling to Queenstown, New Zealand, don't worry
Queenstown bus app Transit

Transit is the Queenstown bus app that gets you where you want to go safely and without getting lost in Queenstown, New Zealand.
If you'd like to download Transit, you can install it directly below. Just scroll down a bit and you'll see it's available for download depending on your Android and app store. It's a must-have app for getting around Queenstown by bus, so make sure you download it.
How to use the Queenstown Bus app
1) How to view the Queenstown Bus app

When you first open the app, you should see a screen like the one above. You'll see a map of where you are, with the bus number and how long it will take to arrive below.
For reference, for example, bus #5 is headed to Lake Hayes Estate, which means it has 32 minutes to get to the bus stop. If you click on the number 5, you'll get a little more detail, as shown in the photo below.

However, a bus always has a start and an end point.
Be sure to look for buses in the direction you want to go. Don't worry, when the bus comes, it's usually written which direction it's going. Otherwise, you can ask the bus driver.
2) Queenstown Bus Routes

There are five main bus routes in Queenstown. These are Bus 1, Bus 2, Bus 3, Bus 4, and Bus 5.
For example, the bus number 4 above is a bus to Jacks point, it leaves from the Stanley Street bus hub stop, and there are 32 minutes left before the bus arrives. Note that the number 6 refers to a water taxi. It is not a bus.
This is how you can view Transit. If you're stuck on the Queenstown bus routes (updated), check out the post below.
3) Enter the destination you want to go to
When you turn on the app, you'll see a green search box. Type in the destination you want to go to, and you'll see the bus number you need to take, etc.

I've put in the Frankton neighborhood, and you can see the names of the bus stops and the bus numbers that go through there. Let's go ahead and click on one of them.

The earliest bus that comes from your location is bus 1, which is 29 minutes away, and you can catch it at 9:02 pm. The time it takes to get there is about 16 minutes, which means you could arrive in Frankton around 9:17pm.
4) Queenstown Buscard Bee Card
There are two ways to get on a bus in Queenstown: cash or Bee Card. Paying cash is more expensive than using a card.
Bee cards are now available for purchase at Queenstown Airport, so if you're interested in purchasing one, please see the post below.

Today I've been talking about Transit, a must-have app for buses in Queenstown, New Zealand. Queenstown is actually kind of inconvenient without a car, because the buses don't run that much, so you never want to miss a bus on time. It's not like there are that many buses running around, so you don't want to miss the bus you need to catch on time.
Queenstown has really fickle weather, and I'm not a fan of waiting outside for long periods of time, but since using this app, I'm always right on time to catch the bus, so it's nice not to have to waste time.
Finally, if you're looking to get from Queenstown Airport to the city center, you can get there without much hassle by reading the post below.
