Find out if you can send money from your Korean account to your Wise account
I live in New Zealand and have been earning New Zealand dollars in my Wise New Zealand account and sending money to my Korean account from time to time, but I have a question. I wanted to know if I could send money from my Korean account to my Wise account. Here's what I found out.
Wise Account
Wise Servicesis an international money transfer service that allows people in countries around the world to send money to each other in a variety of currencies.
For example, I live in New Zealand, and my work comes into my New Zealand bank account. I often create a New Zealand account in the Wise app, move the money in my New Zealand account there, and then send money to my account in Korea.
How I use the Wise app
This action will eventually change the New Zealand dollar to South Korean won.
Wise app for creating multi-currency accounts
Here's how to create an account of your choice, not just a Korean account. It's very simple.
1) Select +Add in your Wise Korea account
Click the +Add button to transfer money from your Korean account to your Wise account.
2) Enter the amount you want to send
The task we're working on is to transfer money from our Korean account to our Wise Korean account, and the amount we want to transfer to our Wise Korean account is 10000 won.
Currently, the account is set to New Zealand dollars, so we need to change it to our Korean bank account. To do this, select the Change button next to New Zealand dollars.
3) Select your currency
You see a list of currencies from different countries around the world, and you want to select the Korean Won currency, but unfortunately, there is no Korean Won currency.
I was unable to send money from my Korean account to my Wise account because the account currency I needed to get the money from didn't have Korean Won in it.
Contact Wise Help Center
When you explain to the Wise associate that you want to transfer money from your Korean account to your Wise account, and they can't find the Korean currency Won, the associate says, "I'm sorry.
Finalize
Today we looked at sending money from your Korean account to your Wise account, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be supported yet.
Still, I converted New Zealand dollars to Japanese yen and Korean won and put them into each of my Wise accounts, and when I was traveling in those countries, I used the Wise cardsand we're back.
