Ordering books with Aladdin international shipping (international shipping rates, timeframes)

There are many things that frustrate me about living abroad, but one of them is not having immediate access to domestic books - books. Nowadays, they're available as ebooks, ebooks, etc., but they're not always readily available. Whenever that happens, I use Aladdin International Shipping to get my books, and I'm always 100% satisfied with their service.

I ordered a total of 4 books from Aladdin, and the total weight of the books is 2,704 grams, which is about 2.7 kilograms. Aladdin offers DHL, UPS, and EMS for international shipping, and I was preset to DHL.

This way, the International shipping from South Korea to New Zealand cost 41,200 won.

Because we ship globally, we recognize the importance of geography.

DHL is based on quantity of goods, UPS and EMS on gross weightdetermines the shipping rate. In my case, New Zealand is region 2, Oceania, and the product quantity is 4 books. Let's take a look at the DHL shipping costs (typical) below.

According to the table above, a quantity of 4 items for DHL zone 2 costs 53,000 won, but it cost me 41,200 won. Aladdin says that if you use Aladdin's contracted DHL, you can get a slightly lower price, and I think that's why.

Perhaps just as important as the price is the timeframe, because you've paid for the book and expensive international shipping up front, and you want the peace of mind that it will arrive in one piece.

The day I ordered and paid for the book on Aladdin was Tuesday night, July 1, and the day I received the book in person was Monday morning, July 7. That's a total of six days.

It seems to have arrived neatly packaged with no damage.

How to order Aladdin's International Shipping Book

Shipping internationally is basically the same as ordering domestically.

During the checkout process for the books in your cart, you can select international shipping from the shipping method selection as shown above. After you make your selection, you'll see the shipping method (DHL, etc.), total weight, and international shipping costs.

After that, you'll need to fill in the exact international address where you'd like to receive the shipment.
