Due to my lack of English, I used to do all my shopping in New Zealand in stores, but there are many products that are not displayed in stores and are available for online delivery. All you need to do is visit the New Zealand online shopping website Warehouse. I'll show you how.
Shop online in New Zealand
Even if you live in an English-speaking country, if you're not comfortable with English, you're probably not going to feel comfortable browsing New Zealand's online shopping websites in English, and for that reason, I preferred to go to stores to make my purchases rather than shopping online.
Also, I think the fact that in New Zealand, if you buy something online, it takes a long time for it to arrive is another thing that discouraged me from going to the store to buy it in person. I really missed the rocket delivery of Coupang in Korea.
It wasn't until I left Korea that I realized how easy it is to be a consumer in a world where you have all the services in the world, plus fast shipping at a low cost.
Of course, if you're shopping online in New Zealand, you'll probably need to use individual shopping websites for fancy clothes or specialty items, but for general household goods, you can find everything you need at Warehouse.
New Zealand Warehouse
If you live in New Zealand, you can't go wrong with a big supermarket like pak'nsave and The Warehouse - you can buy your groceries at the big supermarkets, but get your cheap essentials at the Warehouse.
No matter where you go in New Zealand, warehouse architecture looks pretty much the same.
The New Zealand warehouse displays and sells a huge variety of products, including clothing, electronics, garden and camping supplies, interior furniture and beds, books, home decor, and more. But what really draws people here is the variety of products and the fact that the prices are reasonable.
There are a lot of parents who come to New Zealand from Korea to send their children to study abroad, and you don't need to pack a lot of stuff: bowls, pots, rice cookers (not electric), duvets, pillows, towels, you name it. You can simply buy the essentials here and save money.
Even though the warehouse has such a wide variety of products, sometimes there are some products that you can only order online. In this case, you can place an order on the warehouse website, so I took the opportunity to place an online order on the warehouse website.

I can buy similar quality items much cheaper on Coupang in Korea... but this is New Zealand. The prices of industrial goods are much higher than in Korea. I'm a person who thinks that time is more important than money, so I tend not to compare prices on multiple sites when purchasing products.
Luckily, this item has free shipping. However, they say it takes between 3 and 5 business days to ship, and since they say business days, that means they only count Monday through Friday working days.
If there are weekends in between, those days are subtracted from the business days and counted. Anyway, it's a lot slower than in Korea. I've lived here long enough that I'm starting to draw it now.
