Queenstown Fitness Center Prices Curious about the facilities inside? (Flex fitness)
I need to exercise, but it's been hard to get myself to the gym after talking about it every day. After a free trial, I signed up and have been working out ever since, and now I know I made the right choice. In this article, I'll tell you about the prices of Queenstown gyms and what you can expect to find inside.
Why we chose Flex fitness center in Queenstown
If you search for Queenstown FITNESS on Google Maps, you'll see one in the center of Queenstown, several in Frankton, and another in the Remarkable area below the airport. For reference, the red circles (white in the center) are the FITNESS locations.
Queenstown Fitness Center Prices and How to Register
If you've just started working out, the location and price of the gym is probably what you're most interested in. Let's start by looking at the Flex Queenstown gym prices. For reference, Flex fitness is a gym chain in New Zealand.
How to sign up for Flex fitness
To register for the Queenstown Flex fitness center, simply select the yellow button Join this club on the website as shown in the photo above.
Flex, Queenstown Fitness Center Prices
Basically, the price per week is different when you cut off a month, six months, and a year.
Separation | Monthly | 6 months | 1 year |
Pricing | $28 per week | $26 per week | $24 per week |
Once you start, you do 30-40 seconds of exercise, rest for 20-30 seconds, and then do it again, which was really hard for me. It made me realize how inactive I've been.
Since I didn't have a workout base, I opted for a 2-week SPPT and a monthly commitment. Simply select your preferred duration on the page above and make your payment.
Depending on which day of the week you start and the duration you choose, you'll be paid on that day of the week. I started working out on Monday, and my monthly payment is $28.
If you go with the basic, month-to-month enrollment, you'll pay about $20 (enrollment fee) + 1TP30 (key tag) + 1TP28 per week for the Flex Queenstown Fitness Center.
Queenstown Flex Fitness Center Facilities
And while you're enrolled, you'll also have access to Flex fitness locations across New Zealand.
Inside Flex Queenstown Fitness Center
Basically, there's an information desk, a place to drink or hold water, and shelves for light bags, clothes, water bottles, etc. It's not designated, so anyone can use it. There are cameras running 24 hours a day, so the risk of getting lost seems to be low.
Changing rooms, restrooms, and showers are all in one room, and there are about four of them. You need to bring your own shower supplies and towels.
I'm actually new to fitness centers, so I don't know much about them, but the facilities seem nice. I guess it's more about the desire to work out than the facilities.
You see the Stairway to Heaven and the cycle in front of it. The Stairway to Heaven is really hard, and I sweat a lot even if I do it just a little bit, but I feel like it's a good workout.
It's full of dumbbells, a staple in my workout routine. I question when I'll ever be able to lift that much weight, and as a beginner, I'm always amazed when I see old pros lift that much weight.
I also have a Smith machine that helps me with squats, deadlifts, and other exercises. I'm still at the point where I'm just holding the bar.
Just like any other fitness center, there are a lot of people who work out really hard. I went to the same time four or five days a week, and I kept seeing the same faces. I wanted to say hello, but I was too shy to do so, so I just kept working out.
If you're new to working out, you can sign up for SPPT or request a 1:1 session with a trainer. Of course, there is an additional cost. I seem to recall that a trainer lesson was around $80 an hour. My memory is fuzzy, so I could be wrong.

Finalize
I have a friend who goes to a gym in central Queenstown, so I checked out the prices and Flex fitness is definitely more expensive, but it's not 24 hours.
I've gotten really into exercise lately, and I'm having a lot of fun working out every day. I don't know how to do it on my own, so I've been watching Fitbly and Sunho Ma's YouTube channels to help me work out, but I was worried that I couldn't follow the videos.
However, as I continue to watch the videos and follow them one by one, I feel like I'm getting better and better at doing the exercises. I'm even surprised to see myself recognizing the proteins I need to eat post-workout.
If you're wondering what proteins to order in New Zealand, check out my post below.
